When solving problems, dig at the roots instead of just hacking at the leaves. -Anthony J. D’Angelo
Honorary Moment
Alex Ogunji is in Quality Assurance from Los Angeles County Office of the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. Alex spearheads Process Improvement for the Director’s Office at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. A success that has continued to provide motivation and inspiration for Alex is the development of a Lean Six Sigma program structure.
They are using their own version of a Kanban Board, called the “Process Improvement Idea Board,”and they have built a department-wide structure of process improvement meetings in nearly every section, roles for engagement at every organizational level, project documentation tools, training, cultural development workshops, and Lean leadership coaching.
The structure has created a fertile environment to shift from business as usual to continuous improvement as an identity.
Celebrate Public Service Recognition Week with us as we announce a new honoree every day this week.
