Ethical Efficiency Scholarship Program
For high school students in Hawai’i and around the world
GLSS is on a mission to empower high school students around the world to be as productive as our Fortune 500 clients—with Ethical Efficiency™.
To achieve our mission, we’re providing high school students with free access to our internationally recognized Lean Six Sigma Training & Certification courses through the GLSS Scholarship Program. This opportunity equips students with real-world business skills and hands-on experience to improve efficiency in their schools, communities, and future workplaces around the world.
For the School Year 2025-2026 GLSS Scholarship Program, high school students will gain free access to our fully online and self-paced GLSS Yellow Belt (regularly $99) and Green Belt Training & Certification (regularly $599) courses. Plus, they’ll complete a real business-related project focused on processes that students themselves are interested in improving — whether in school operations, extracurricular activities, their jobs, environmental initiatives, or community service.
A total of $10,000 in scholarships will be awarded:
- $500 scholarships will be awarded to students who complete a Yellow Belt project with Kure
- $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who complete a Green Belt project with Kure
All submissions must be completed by April 20, 2026.

“GLSS Training helped me break a problem down and understand what was really going wrong. It gave me a process to find solutions that made sense, and I know that the skills I learned, especially through earning my GLSS Yellow Belt Certification, are something I’ll keep using in the future.”
Justine John Claro
Waipahu High School
The GLSS training is well-paced, offers a lot of information, and is very easy to understand and follow. Whether it be cleaning my room or doing work, now I’m confident with defining problems, finding solutions, and doing things in an organized manner thanks to what I’ve learned from these courses.

“The Yellow Belt Training allowed us to move beyond surface-level assumptions and uncover the root causes of limited participation. This data-driven approach allowed us to design solutions by understanding not just “what was occurring,” but “why.”
