UPDATED COURSE COMING SOON!
Lean
Course Description
The updated Lean course provides a practical, structured approach to improving processes by focusing on what matters most: delivering value to the customer.
Learners will build a strong foundation in Lean principles, starting with how Lean originated and why organizations rely on it to improve performance. From there, the course introduces the GO-SEE-ACT mindset, helping learners observe work as it actually happens, identify waste, and take meaningful action based on facts.
Throughout the course, learners will map current processes, design more efficient future states, and apply key concepts like flow, pull, and takt time. The course also emphasizes building quality into processes, sustaining improvements, and avoiding short-term fixes that create long-term problems.
Grounded in Ethical EfficiencyâĒ, this course reinforces that true improvement balances speed, cost, and quality with respect for people and long-term sustainability. Learners will also explore how Lean applies beyond physical operations, including transactional processes, and gain practical strategies for implementation.
By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to identify opportunities, improve workflows, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
In Lean Training, youâll learn how to:
- Explain Lean principles and apply the GO-SEE-ACT mindset
- Identify waste and distinguish value-added from non-value-added work
- Map and analyze processes using a Current State Value Stream Map
- Design improved processes using flow, pull, and takt time
- Apply Lean to drive sustainable improvement with Ethical EfficiencyâĒ
