The Consulate of the Philippines recently received a donation of a Farmacy Garden box from the Knights of Rizal – Maysa Ohana Chapter and Hui Mala ‘Ai. Consul General Emil Fernandez accepted the donation, continuing a partnership established during the launch of Hardin ni Rizal last year.
The Farmacy Garden box, created by Mountain View Farms, is a self-contained system designed to produce sustainable, chemical-free, and nutrient-dense food. The installation at the Consulate aims to encourage the Filipino community in Hawaii to adopt natural microbes in soil for healthier produce and promote gardening as a tool for improving mental health.
