Philippine Consulate General officers engaged with Filipino-descended students at Farrington and Waipahu High Schools, discussing various topics to boost interest in Filipino culture and heritage.
Supported by school administrations, the Consul representatives introduced a Filipino Culture History course and GLSS CEO & Founder Kalro Tanjuakio also provided insights on career and entrepreneurial opportunities, including grants and mentorship programs led by local educational and business leaders. This initiative aims to connect students with their Filipino roots and encourage academic and entrepreneurial pursuits.
