How to Report Your Activities and Claim Your PDUs From PMI -

Earn PDUs and advance your process improvement skills – it’s a win-win! Register for Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt or Lean Training & Certification and claim up to 48 PDUs.

For nearly all PMI certifications, you are required to follow Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR), which supports ongoing professional development through education and giving back to your profession

There are plenty of opportunities to earn professional development units (PDUs) toward maintaining your credential(s) including’s Training & Certification courses.

We offer PDUs from the Project Management Institute ( for the following courses:

  • White Belt Training & Certification: 1 PDU
  • Yellow Belt Training & Certification: 8 PDUs
  • Green Belt Training & Certification: 32 PDUs
  • Black Belt Training & Certification: 48 PDUs
  • Lean Training & Certification: 16 PDUs

You can claim your PDUs under Courses or Training using the “How to Submit PDUs for Courses or Training” from the PMI User Guide.

    Thanks! Have you had a chance to determine how this breaks down in the three PMI Talent Triangle skill areas: Technical, Leadership, or Strategic and Business Management?

    I think there are elements of the goleansixsigma training that fall into each of the three areas, I just don’t know the exact breakdown.

      Hey KrisB- Great question! You can always claim PDUs as Strategic & Business Management. However, we have many PMPs who claim a combination of the three skills and split the PDUs evenly amongst the available (Example: For the Green Belt Training & Certification, PMPs commonly claim 8 Technical, 8 Leadership and 8 Strategic & Business Management).       Step 6 says: For third-party providers and activities, manually enter PDU values under the Technical skill area for each certification to which this activity applies (if you hold multiple certifications). Manually enter PDU values for Leadership and Strategic skill areas – these PDUs will automatically be shared across certifications (if you hold multiple certifications).
