GLSS is proud to announce the successful completion of its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type I examination, reinforcing our commitment to protecting customer data and maintaining the highest standards of information security.
SOC 2, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), outlines the criteria for managing customer data based on five Trust Service Principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Widely regarded as the industry standard, SOC 2 is especially critical for organizations in the digital and SaaS sectors.
The independent audit was conducted by Insight Assurance via the Vanta platform. During the rigorous review process, GLSS demonstrated full compliance with AICPAâs stringent controls in key areas such as data security, availability, and confidentiality.
To achieve this milestone, GLSS completed the following:
- Assessed the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
- Evaluated the security practices of vendors and third-party partners
- Established formal policies to ensure the ongoing protection of customer and employee data
Earning SOC 2 Type I certification confirms that GLSS has implemented robust security measures and built a strong foundation for long-term data protection. But weâre not stopping there.
We are already working toward our SOC 2 Type II certification as part of our long-term commitment to privacy and security. This next phase will further validate the ongoing effectiveness of our controls, policies, and operational practices providing even greater reassurance to our customers.
