A Process is a stepwise combination of people, tools, materials, and methods where an Input is converted into an Output.

A fundamental term, the goal of any Lean Six Sigma project is to streamline Processes by eliminating waste. This results in increased revenue and improved customer satisfaction.

A Process is the middle step of SIPOC.
