Yes, I think this is a great strategy. I don’t think anyone should be burdened with the whole presentation. I’ve seen success with giving team members 1-3 slides to explain. Although there is some back and forth, I think they enjoy it as well as the stakeholders  enjoy listening. The facilitator is more the role of a “host” opening and closing the session and helping the team answer questions from stakeholders where appropriate.
