Both are highly applicable. Lean is great if for organizations just starting out. The concepts are simple and can he very impactful. Six Sigma concepts especially the DMAIC methodology is very helpful, and Six Sigma is more statistical in nature. There is a lot of application where proving statistical significance is important.
