The length of a DMAIC project depends upon the complexity of the project. I’ll include a screenshot of the time per phase suggested for a typical 4-month project. As you can see, each phase consists of 3 weeks, except for Analyze, which has 4. These timings are always flexible since real projects don’t always conform to the norm. There are 3-week projects, 6-week projects and then projects that run into big barriers can take longer. I hope that’s helpful!
