We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Online Course Development Assistant to support the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of our online training courses.

Job Summary

As an Online Course Development Assistant, you will work closely with our Director of Product Development to design, build, optimize, and maintain online courses. Your role will involve designing and formatting course content, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a seamless learning experience for our learners. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, skilled in UI/UX design, and passionate about online education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, structuring, and formatting online course slide content.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure course content is properly displayed, accessible, and free of errors.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to course functionality, multimedia, and user experience.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and graphic designers to refine course materials.
• Research and implement best practices for online learning engagement and accessibility.
• Maintain and update course content based on feedback and industry trends.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles for e-learning environments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline 360.
• Experience with multimedia editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in online course development or instructional design.
• Interest in online education, instructional design, or e-learning development.
• Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, or other e-learning standards.
