Generally, FMEA is applied on DCS/ESD/ICS operation, how can we apply it to a Six Sigma project?

My main experience is applying FMEA to Six Sigma Projects in both the Analyze Phase – to assess current risk, and in the Improve Phase – to assess the risk of the improvements.
