A Facilitator is an intermediary who helps parties involved in a process improvement project collaborate.

Facilitators can either be a third party or a team member/leader. Their primary objectives are to:

  1. Remain neutral, unbiased, and sensitive to all parties involved
  2. Encourage the free flow of opinions
  3. Drive Lean Six Sigma projects forward towards progress
