I am an old learner of quality circles and Juran on Quality programs, I used to manage some broad programs on productivity management in Europe, Kaisen Institute has presented as a very usefull and respectfull entity to provide lean six sigma trainning in a large numeber of corporations, is it a straight competition line, or are there diferent goals and objetives between Kaisen Institute and projets ? I am myself in a position of creating a research center on business sciences and advanced training programs, with a major focus on productivity issues, what really shall I consider to be a best way to give early adopters a nice start ?

    • Hi @[email protected]_WisnvyovhQ:disqus – thanks for reaching out. I’m impressed with your background! I have not heard of Quality Circles in a while. You might enjoy reading a fun piece about Juran here ( I’m not familiar with the Kaizen Institute, but I did a quick glance at their website. They seem to have live or “onsite” workshops and largely focused on Kaizens or Rapid Improvement Events. I’m sure they’re good at what they do. What’s particular about offerings is that we offer many remote, self-paced options that are still very engaging. If you want a give early adopters a start here are a few ideas: have them all do the Yellow Belt training (that’s free which is great), send them links to some of our introductory Webinars (also free) or you could pull a group together for an onsite “proof-of-concept” workshop called FastPitch ( which a lot of groups use as a kick-off. I hope that helps. Let us know if there’s anything else we can do!
